This blog looks at stories from Acts, especially the biography of our final villain, Ananias. Also, current status on Paleo Bible updates, especially lessons from names. Then 3d printing updates. Finally, a headline review.

Tabernacles Reads

We have been slowly finishing our Tabernacles read. This has been slow because we are dealing with the difference between Joshua and gods. This study grinds on our Christian upbringing. I am sure readers of this blog are similarly struggling.

This past week we were able to get through Acts and the general epistles. The best clues for understanding what Ananias actually did to the New Testament are given in Acts in Ananias' biography.

Similar to how the Lion's Den story in Daniel explains most Old Testament edits, Ananias' biography does the same for his New Testament editing. There are 3 key areas in his biography that inform Ananias. Let me show you.

Sold A Field

The story of Ananias begins at Acts 5. But, the story is following a story at the end of Acts 4, where Barnabas had sold a field and brought the proceeds to the apostles. At the start of chapter 5 we see Ananias doing the same. But, he does not give all the proceeds to the apostles. Only some.

This story has a curious detail. Conceptually, Ananias can give whatever he wants to the Apostles. It does not even matter where it might be from. But in this case, Simeon calls Ananias out in a lie. This lie is what gets Ananias in trouble. Ananias' wife is also called out in the same lie. In her case she is trapped in the problem of loyalty to her husband and her husband's lie. In any case, it gets her in trouble too.

So we are faced with a problem. Did Ananias write in this entire story? Or did Ananias tamper the story? At times, we have had this passage listed as completely non-inspired. This week we could see the detailed edit better than before.

Ananias and his wife did not just simply drop down dead. But, they were forcibly ejected from the assembly over their lie. The ushers were not activated to remove their dead bodies. The ushers were demonstrating a more complex role in all meetings put on by the apostles.

Those ushers, so presumably all ushers in all meetings, were actively managing who was allowed in the meetings. This is a general lesson. All meetings need this. These were probably young men as in military aged men. Ananias' edit erased this point on how the Apostles were conducting meetings.

Ryan has now marked up this story to show the low level tampering. This is where Ananias wrote in his own death. The problem with Ananias was not the amount of money he was giving, but the lie itself.

Simeon was operating with a strong gift of discernment. He knew this was a lie. The ushers were called to remove the trouble makers, the liars, from the meeting.

This story becomes the first major biographical point on Ananias. He was, fundamentally, a liar. He likes to tell false stories in public in order to make himself look good. Those who are in ministry with Ananias are also liars. As a group, they keep back proceeds to themselves in order to defund the real work of Joshua. In addition to lies, the money hoarding nature of the Zionist religious community can be seen right here in this origin story.

Second Chance

Joshua is merciful and gives Ananias a second chance. Second chances are strange because they either recover from an earlier offense or else they make matters worse. In Ananias' case, they make matters worse. Let me explain.

Ananias is out of the assembly, but still knows of Joshua. So Joshua is going to use Ananias to speak a word of healing over Saul who has just had his famous Damascus Road experience. Joshua is proving to Ananias that Joshua is real. But, it also raises the stakes on Ananias. We pick up the story at Acts 9:10, here is the link.

Ananias' Vision

At this point Paul is in Damascus, but is still blind. Paul has had a vision of someone coming to pray. Now Ananias has a vision of being sent to pray for Paul.

Ananias is being given a chance to see the conversion of Paul, a Jew, into the man who would become a famous evangelist. Ananias needs to make a similar personal conversion. This is Ananias' second chance.

Of course Paul receives his sight after this event, but Ananias does not ultimately change his heart. Ananias is still a liar. He still cannot really see who Joshua is. Ananias, in effect, remains blind.

Paul's own conversion story is something that Ananias did not take to heart. This is when Ananias lost his second chance at a walk with Joshua. Ananias will still have Joshua's attention, because Ananias will go on to create an entire false religion. So Ananias is important to Joshua because of Ananias' impact on the flow of future Roman and eventually world history. Ananias is no longer important as a candidate for becoming a walk-off.

Commands Paul Be Struck

Paul will not see Ananias again until Paul is about to leave Jerusalem for the last time. Paul knows Ananias. Paul is in a heated debate about the ways of Joshua. As part of that episode, Ananias commands that Paul be struck on the mouth.

Paul knows the man, but does not know the specific detail that Ananias is now the High Priest.

A this point, the biography of Ananias is starting to fill in. 1) He is a liar. 2) He is blind to the things of Joshua. 3) He commanded that Paul's mouth be struck. So this means Paul's writing was edited at Ananias' direction. That Acts 23 passage implies Ananias may not have done all the edits personally, himself. Others may have done some of the editing.

This makes lots of sense because the New Testament is itself a collection of writings by different people. Each of the inspired writers has their own voice. So by selecting different writers for conducting the edits, it makes it more difficult to find "Ananias' voice."

This is also part of why working through the New Testament is difficult. There is not just one editor's voice. These edits were the work of Ananias' other priests.

What Pharisees Believe

There is a final detail that matters to understanding Ananias. Paul plays a trick in order to cause a fight where Paul is rescued by the Romans. The fight itself is triggered over the difference in belief between the Pharisees and the Sadducees. The link here is to the key verse, Acts 23:8-9 where we can see how the Pharisees, so Ananias, so our New Testament editors, believe in the "rising, angels and spirits." The Sadducees do not believe in these things.

This list of 3 beliefs shows how the Pharisees are wrong. So it is showing 3 important beliefs that are false. This becomes very complex because they intersect Christian beliefs that spring from their editing work. These are also systems of belief that are hiding certain related truths.

This has been especially difficult because we were raised as New Testament believers. So we are engaged in long conversations to figure out what the problems are in our own beliefs. Let me explain these 3 key points.

Rising

The 'rising' that is being mentioned here is an end-of-the-age rising of the dead. The actual, real, process is walking off earth alive after a lifetime here on the planet. Anyone who dies here on earth goes through reincarnation in order to try again. Remember Nicodemus, you must be born again. Nicodemus must go around again in another life.

Some souls eventually never come back. They will never develop enough to attain to everlasting life. There is no everlasting life for them. Though they will have been given many chances. There are hints to the math on this problem in the story of David and Bathsheba. Full details are beyond our scope here. Mass murders are the ones with the biggest risks of never returning. Think of anyone who sets off a nuke or similar atrocities.

Fundamentally, living through multiple lives is the process of soul development. The inspired text gives biographies for various souls that are going around again and again so we can learn how souls develop across many centuries.

So any passage that appears to suggest any sort of end-of-the-age rising, is an Ananias idea that was written into the New Testament by someone on his editing team. This is what pharisees believe in, and pharisees did the New Testament edits.

This class of end-of-the-age edit hides an eventual reconciliation between those who live on earth and those who live in the skies. So there is room for a point where those on earth eventually live forever just like those who live in the skies. This is not a rising in the pharisee sense.

There is a timeline sense of the end of the age. It is defined by a timeline from Adam. Most likely 25,500 years. We are a little past the 1/2 way point now. What happens at that point is unclear. But it is not rising from the dead.

Angels

Angels, as understood by the Pharisees, appears to be a belief in a specific type of spiritual being. These show up in historical Christian art, for example. This view of an angel covers up real angels as described in inspired text.

Inspired uses of the term 'angel' are referring to people who have previously walked off earth alive and have returned for kingdom business.

In other words, real angels are regular humans who once lived on earth, but who no longer normally live on earth. As they live forever, they will not show any signs of aging. As they are regular people, they will not have wings. (Though they can fly, but by use of UFOs.)

The Book of Tobit was struck from the Zionist canon because it is a particularly intricate example of how real angels actually function. When pressed, they can reveal what family or tribe they were originally from. Though their visits are thought to be short, they can remain back on earth for a long time. They are here for kingdom business. When that business is over, they return home to Eden.

Any New Testament reference to an angel, where that reference cannot be to a walk-off human, is thus coming from Ananias and his team of editors.

The word "angel" can be translated messenger. If a passage cannot handle that translation, then Ananias was likely involved with messing up the passage. The angel in the Book of Tobit had much more business than just delivering messages. That is a good example of "kingdom business."

For this reading pass, each such reference requires testing the term in order to see what might have been going on.

The lost-sheep parable is explaining about worlds full of humans who can theoretically come to earth. So far, it looks to us that angels are only people from Eden. There are also humans from these other worlds that are not in the category of angels. We have heard modern personal testimony of encounters with people in that group. These people tend to be about their own business. As the parable of the lost sheep explains, they are still, in some way, about helping Joshua with tasks here on earth.

In all cases, all of these people can walk amongst us without notice provided they wear appropriate clothing and speak regular English. (So they probably have tracked the changes in English since before it was Latin. So they probably specialize in various nations in order to fit in. Angels that specialize in the USA may not be the same as those who specialize in Russia.)

Spirits

Finally, that passage indicates Pharisees believe in 'spirits.' In actual reality there are souls of the dead who are between lives. That they did not leave earth for Eden between lives indicates very low spiritual development. They do not even warrant a judgment, nor review between lives. These human souls just go around again.

There is a well developed body of modern research that documents many of the details of how reincarnation works. Injuries at death manifest as birth marks and birth defects. Interests are are preserved across lives. This modern research allows tracking, for example, where in the text the soul of John the Baptist came back for another life. This modern research is well known folk wisdom in much of Asia, so it has been known for centuries. I read recently that it was some church council that banned the belief in reincarnation in the Roman world.

Inspired text deals regularly with this particular case of spiritual beings. They are known as souls, perhaps ghosts. Beyond this idea, any other reference to a 'spirit' as something outside of a human soul is not going to be inspired. So in our reading pass we are stopping and paying particular attention to references to the word "spirit."

One particular problem here is the term itself can also be translated "breath" or "wind." So one of the tests on uses of this term is to see if these English words would work instead. All living humans have a breath. That breath drives our ability to speak. So if a passage works under this definition, it can be inspired. Pentecost, for example, works by this test.

This sets up for the bigger problem of the "special spirit" normally translated as the "holy spirit." This idea of a special spirit appears to originate from Ananias and his crew of editors.

This expression "holy spirit" is being used in 2 different ways. The first is to flat out replace the name Joshua. Ananias cannot allow Joshua to speak or interact with anyone after his ascension. So Ananias and his team regularly shift that interaction with Joshua to the "holy spirit."

This is happening the same way as how Solomon changed Joshua to Yahweh, or Ezra shifting Joshua to Elohim or God.

So Ananias using the term "holy spirit" is like the Old Testament editors using another false god name. Just like how we recover Joshua in the Old Testament we can thus recover Joshua in the New Testament from what are otherwise inspired references to "holy spirit."

This term "holy spirit" is also being used when Ananias wants to just make stuff up. This is the same as Solomon and Ezra making stuff up. So this term is being used in inspired stories of Joshua. It is also being used to feather in non-inspired stories. Each story must be studied in order to determine if it is otherwise inspired.

Our Training

Ryan and I met at a conference on the person and work of the Holy Spirit. So this study has been hard to get through. This has been hard at a personal and emotional level. This study seems to mean that everything we learned there was wrong.

As we clean up the text, we are seeing that the only important super natural agent is Joshua himself. Since "holy spirit" was an Ananias edit from the name Joshua, years ago, when we started out, we were really learning about Joshua all along.

The only real issue is what passages in the text are inspired and thus provide real examples about Joshua, his ways, and his character.

Dealing with this problem from the level of inspired passages is a much less difficult problem to handle. The emotion that we've been struggling with is settling down.

We can also see, though, that many Christians who use the term "Holy Spirit" are not giving credit to where credit is due. It has always been about Jesus, so Joshua.

We will figure out the remaining specific details as we continue with the manuscript recovery work.

Theology

It is also become quite evident that essentially all debates about Christian theology are coming from the work of Ananias. He and his team created confusion because they were hiding Joshua's true character. The trinity, for example, is the creation of editors. We can see how this text is going to eventually clean up and be rid of theological problems.

What remains is that Joshua was active in bodily form at the start of the New Testament. He was active indirectly throughout the rest of the New Testament just as he was active indirectly throughout the Old Testament.

It is all about Joshua and the people he uses. It is a long term project that he is working on earth in order to generate a crop of people whom he considers ready to be given everlasting life.

Story Grid

The link here is to the Story Grid app. This week we were also able to finish reading through the General Epistles. Ryan was able to update those letters with the results of this read. These fill in the row starting at story 500.

Ryan has moved the Apostle's Council, originally from Acts 15, to the start of this row at story 500. This is the context for these other letters. Most likely, these letters were written at the same time and sent back with the letter recorded in Acts 15. Some of those letters may have been intended to be carried further.

The opening line of story 500 is how certain men from the Jews came to the meetings in Antioch and upset those meetings. They were butting in where they did not belong. This is a feature of the Re letter, head butting like goats. They were attempting to turn followers of Joshua into a sect of the Jews. They were ultimately successful, we know it as Christianity. But for a season that work was resisted. The letters that came out from that council explained many of the issues.

It helps to think of yourself as in Antioch and having received these letters with warnings about Zionists entering meetings and changing the plan.

I explained their main beliefs above. Zionists want you in their rising at the end of the age. So they want you dead now, say with a Covid shot. They end up with worse. For each person they kill, they go around 4 more times. Eventually, the clock runs out and they don't ever go around again. This is part of Joshua's plan for ridding the earth of them.

In any case, the Apostles wrote many things that matter to understanding how to avoid getting caught in their traps. Don't let them in your house, for example.

What is important about this recent insight is that this set of letters are elaborating the summary given in Acts 15 about Ananias and his team of editors.

Paleo Bible

The link here is to the Paleo Bible app. This week the first full pass of names was loaded into the lexicon. So you can move around in that Bible and see that most names are filled in.

There were, though, a series of serious lessons that came from this work. My mental model for this problem was not really up to the actual problem presented by history in the actual texts. It left behind a pile of rare names that are still not loaded. Let me explain.

I was being careful about avoiding copyrighted material leaking into the Paleo Bible. So I had set up a series of steps where nothing unique to any modern translation was arriving through this work. I wanted standard modern English names paired to the Paleo spelling for those names.

I had prepared 2 sets of data for this work. The first was a list of modern English Biblical names, sorted in order of first occurrence. This was from the NIV text, because it was handy. Any other modern text would have worked. The second was a list of Paleo language names, also sorted in order of first occurrence. I used the BAU text to identify those Paleo names, but I only used ancient Paleo for the final merge.

There was a risk that the process would only go as smoothly as modern English agrees with the Aramaic texts passed by history. This is where I was messed up in my understanding. Let me start with this week's stats so you can see what happened.

Coverage Status

In terms of manuscript coverage, there are currently 551,661 words that have known English words, so 79 percent. There are 146,151 words in the running text that are unexplained. So 21 percent. It is nice to see these stats. But there is obviously still more work to do to cover the entire text.

In terms of lexicon coverage, there are 2248 lexicon entries, with 13,665 different forms. There remains 37,460 unique inbound words remaining in the text that still need to be explained by the lexicon.

Names Stats

Of those 2248 lexicon entries, 1939 of them are names. This is what I have been working to load into the lexicon. This was very much more efficient on a per-name basis than the first 300 or so words that went into the lexicon. It was pretty easy, pretty fast, but still tedious, to get them loaded.

What happened, though, through this process is that the Aramaic side of my inbound list of names includes 503 entries that did not obviously match any known standard English name. This math suggests 2442 names need to be loaded before names are all done.

This means about 20 percent of all names did not fit my own mental model of how the manuscripts transmitted from Paleo through Aramaic and eventually on to modern English.

This tells me I need to be VERY careful about making assumptions with this problem going forward. It tells me to slow down and beware. Like an ancient explorer sailing to the new world, there be dragons, be careful.

That block of 503 names is big enough to warrant more specialized code to get them loaded. Basically, start with the Aramaic side and do the same process with a few tweaks. More on that later.

The other big problem is there remains about 37,000 other words that need to be entered into the lexicon. These will be low frequency, but high value, technical terms. These can be handled efficiently only with more specialized tooling. So I am going to pause my updates to the Paleo Bible until that new tooling is finished.

In any case, you can play around with the Paleo Bible and see how most of the names are in place. There are mostly issues with rare names.

New Testament Names Lessons

If you know the New Testament well, you know that most names in the New Testament are from a different set of vocabulary words than what is used in the Old Testament.

There are some names that are shared, of course. Jacob, Israel, Jerusalem and so on.

Since my tooling sorted names in order of first occurrence, the English language names that showed up by the time of the New Testament are that set of New Testament unique names. Festus, or Aristarchus, are examples.

So my strategy expected to find matched Paleo spelling for those unique New Testament names.

What I found was how very many of those names are already used in the Paleo Old Testament but use very different English names. I am calling this the "Elizabeth" problem because this name is early in the New Testament and where I first saw the problem.

If you know your Bible well, you know Elizabeth is the only person who uses this name. There is no other Elizabeth in the text.

To my surprise, on the Paleo side, the spelling for that name was first seen in Exodus. It had long been loaded into the names lexicon. Elizabeth was precisely named after Aaron's wife. Elizabeth's New Testament biography says she was of that family. Readers of Paleo know that she is even named after Aaron's wife. Those names are spelled exactly the same way.

Somewhere in the manuscript chain to English, this name was changed. Some modern Zionist scribe did not want anyone reading her story to see that she was named after Aaron's wife and thus must have been an heir of Aaron. So her son John was also an heir of Aaron.

There are many other New Testament names that work similarly. When I chased down the Paleo spelling I found those names already loaded. Usually in Genesis, or else by the end of Numbers.

As this work completes, the New Testament name set will merge with the Old Testament name set in ways that are otherwise unexpected. There are bound to be many, many more strange lessons from this work.

Chronicles Names Lessons

The other surprising area in this names work comes from Chronicles. Most readers here know there are long genealogies in Chronicles. There are many names listed there. Chronicles provides a second ancient witness to many of the names found in Genesis and up through Kings.

What I was unprepared for is how different the Paleo text for Chronicles is compared to modern English. There are many, many places were there are gaps in the Paleo Chronicles story.

I suspect that the Aramaic base texts were forked from Hebrew before editors were done messing with Chronicles. We currently don't expect anything inspired in Chronicles. This manuscript linguistic feature would support our hunch.

Technical Terms

I was also surprised at how often the English New Testament has names when the Aramaic, so Paleo, has a simple story. Usually that story is not flattering to Zionists. So they turn words into names. They also change names into other names. So words like 'Jews' and 'Israel' do not always survive into English.

This same pattern goes on across much of the Old Testament. The Bible as we know in English is a working editor's draft. Not an inspired document. It shows the handiwork of the villains when compared across versions. I now think the Armenian Genocide was conducted to remove the 1 big community who knows this story well. That genocide is at least a good memory peg for this problem.

All of this is strong evidence that Aramaic is closer to inspiration than Hebrew or Greek, so Latin, so English. It also suggests Zionist scribes were hiding stories that were not flattering to themselves. They edited in part so the masses would remain ignorant.

I did not keep a specific list of these examples. Other things are more important right now. We will return when we have better tooling. The VR app very badly needs a rebuild. More on this later.

Lamp Updates

Last week I posted photos on Telegram which showed changes to the colors of the lamp. This week there has been a change to the base of the lamp. It is now a box with drawer to hold the charger, cable and remote for the candles.

It has been good to have the 3d printers running again, at least a little. This has been bothering me, since I am not using available 3d printer time.

I have been have waking flashes on how to fix a bunch of other design issues across the set of exhibits. I am taking this as Joshua urging me to get the 3d printers running again.

Near Ready Prints?

So I went back to see what designs are ready to print, or at least nearly ready to print. What else could be running on the printers which does not need a great deal of design work?

The last major design shift came after our trip to Washington DC. We learned about the cubit length and the designs for the faces on the chests.

This also changed how the wall hanging exhibits were designed and scaled. Most of those have been through at least 2 generations of 3d prints.

There remains quite a few other exhibits that are nearly ready to print. This includes desktop size versions of the sower, reaper, silo, and well.

Their fundamental designs are known. They need a little design work for stands. They were stopped for want of scaling related code. They also have problems with sectioning for use on smaller 3d printers.

The scaling values that have been in the code are used to adjust cubit length. But with new case related designs, which are tied to cubit length, the code now needs a way to size different parts of exhibits independently of the cubit.

I did a code review and could see how to handle that problem. I have worked out a fix to that specific code problem and can now size each part in a design independently of cubit length when that makes sense.

I have been back through the Sower design and can now size it to any value. Interesting size values are small multiples of the basic letter size.

There are still issues with how to easily section for 3d printing. This problem still looks solvable, but there are still questions. Should they be sectioned for glue or bolts? Glue handles any part size. Bolts do not change size. In any case, these are interesting problems to have.

There are also a few other exhibits that are also nearly 3d printer ready, this includes the classroom sized clock and calendar.

So I am shifting priorities from the lexicon to getting nearly ready 3d designs fully ready for 3d printing. My goal is to get the print farm back running all the time. Once that is happening, then I plan to return to the lexicon.

Alone With Leprosy

This week's main headline was the annual United Nations general assembly where leaders from around the world gave speeches from the main UN podium. This meeting happens once a year. It gives world leaders a chance to shake hands and party. I suspect Epstein's old house is still in use near by.

This meeting became the venue for Trump to threaten nuclear war against Iran and for Iran to defend itself. Trump has said he will destroy Iran the day after the elections in the USA. I heard at least 1 guest on a podcast this week suggest that since Trump's real polling numbers are already so low, he may decide to use nukes before the mid term elections.

There was also some fear that the USA would arrest the president of Iran, who was in New York for the UN General Assembly. This made sense because it was about like what happened when the USA kidnapped the president of Venezuela. Zionists are thugs.

But, the highlight of the event was Netanyahu's speech. 77 different delegations walked out of the room when Netanyahu took the podium. He stood there with a strange look on his face as walk outs shouted obscenities over Netanyahu's genocide in Gaza, Lebanon and the West Bank.

For the delegations that remained, some left behind only a single staff member. Those poor souls had to suffer under Netanyahu's evil gaze.

In the end, Netanyahu spoke to a mostly empty room.

This was the best fulfillment so far for a replay of the leprosy of Azariah. This king's prophetic replay ends 2026-10-02. This Jerusalem king had leprosy and for the end of his days lived in a house alone and in seclusion.

So Netanyahu is a good match to that king from Jerusalem. The UN is like the Zionist world's house. (The UN needs to move to central Asia, I digress.) In any case, our prophetic Zionist king from Jerusalem lived in that house in seclusion for about an hour. This about 1 week from the end of the prophetic window. All very nice.

Oil Shock

Average retail price of Diesel in the USA climbed to around $6.50 per gallon. This is some sort of slow motion disaster for the American economy. The Republicans are expected to loose badly in the November elections because of this. Zionists control both political parties. There is no way out of the war that eventually ends the world as we know it. Hopefully, something will slow it down until 2029 or beyond.

Podcast Tone

There was a group of well know alternative media people who were in Moscow recently. This was timed to various international conferences that the Russians hold each year. Conferences are how the Russians are working to build consensus for solving planetary problems. This is where they are building the foundations for planetary civilization.

Some of those Americans, say John Mearsheimer, Judge Nap, and others, were invited to a 3 hour dinner with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov. Lavrov put some realism into the discussion about how the war in Ukraine is likely to play out.

So the tone in the western podcast world has definitely shifted. Everyone now seems to know the Zionist wars will end when the world burns down. There is not as much ignorant hope as there was in weeks past. Maybe this change in tone will reach the west's Zionist overlords?

Watch Dates

The next watch date is 2026-10-02. This is the replay of the last year of Azariah's reign. This is the leprous king who lived in seclusion. The following day, so 2026-10-03, is the replay of the first year of Jotham's reign.

These dates are the Friday and Saturday a week after this blog goes out. So they align more with next week's blog. It may not be possible to spot the headline shift for those dates. But, beware, strange headlines could hit at the end of next week.

There have been quite a few threats by Trump over the use of nuclear weapons against Iran. He used such threats again in his UN speech. There is a link below with Jeffrey Sachs commentary. Sachs was in the room, he was rightfully shocked over Trump.

The Iranian speech ripped up Trump. The Iranian side complained about IAEA inspections of Iran, but not of Israel who has nukes. (And has used them.) The Iranian side listed off a long list of troubles caused by the Zionists.

The immediate prophetic threat of the use of nukes passes after we reach the end of Azariah's reign. But, perhaps we should treat this as a permanent change? When some Zionist drops a nuke on Iran, the world becomes a very different place. It will be like lighting a match on a long fuse.

Code work is progressing to prepare for the 3d print farm to come back to life. My goal is to have parts queued for the printers so I can return to desk work on the Paleo Bible.

I am considering adding one of the new large format, 8 color, Prusa printers to the farm. They don't start shipping until mid November, so this is not yet actionable.

There is a standing question about what size printer should be presumed by the Paleo related 3d designs that get released to the internet. What is a high end 3d printer now, will not remain so forever. It might be good to design for what are now high end printers.

The Vorons currently in the shop are fussy, and need more attention than commercial printers. I don't like their demand on my time, which is becoming more scarce. AI And Jobs

This link is to a long form article on Naked Capitalism. It surveys the history of how technology has changed work. Turns out, nearly everyone today now works in a job that existed by the late 1880s. Only 9 percent of current American jobs came into existence since 1940.

What has changed across time is the tasks that make up those jobs.

That article also explains how new technology tends to attract young people who learn what for them is new technology. Most adults are already invested in other things.

A sign that those new technology jobs are only temporary is found by looking at the age distribution of the people with those jobs.

Software programmers, for example, are now mostly middle aged. This is a sign that profession is not a permanent shift in the overall job market. Those employees will age out. Software programming will become a niche skill.

Railroad builders would have been a similar temporary category of work 150 years ago. Only a very few still do that job, and then only at the few remaining frontiers of earth.

AI is being hyped as replacing everyone's work. It should only be expected to change tasks within most jobs.

My job, as a Philologist, or model maker, or writer, certainly existed in the 1880s. The tasks I use for this job are not the same as a Philologist, or model maker, or writer, in those earlier days. I dare say most people reading this blog have similar stories.
